9/11/2023 0 Comments Skyrim alduin human form![]() ![]() I s it possible that, with the interbreeding of Nedic peoples and Atmorans bringing about the Imperials, and the centuries of cultural exchange between Skyrim and the Imperial Province, that two primitive versions of a dragon deity became merged into one? Causing great scholarly confusion as two gods that are cosmetically very similar but serve wildly different theological functions in their respective pantheons, became rolled into one. Surely they were before Skyrim adopted the Imperial Pantheon for all intents and purposes? Doesn't the Nordic interpretation of Alduin have its roots in the Atmoran customs? (Note: I am speaking here in anthropological and purely historical terms, not theology.) The Old Ways aren't in systematized religion, but of odes and honor.
